Metaphysical Sister Scholars

Mission Statement

Metaphysical Sister Scholars (MSS) is an association of female scholars of color who are interested in advancing their scholarship and in creating a network of support for life in the academy. The biennial writing retreat provides an opportunity for scholars to gather and to work on various projects while providing feedback on each other’s work. The retreat is primarily focused on scholarly production, yet there are also opportunities for relaxation, rejuvenation, and reflection.
